Job Title: Metal Lamination
Overview:
Are you skilled in the art of metal lamination and composite part fabrication? Join our team as a Metal Laminator, where you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality composite parts for our company. As a Metal Laminator, you will follow precise work instructions, maintain tools, and ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency in production.
Pay Rate:
- $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in composite layup techniques such as Carbon Pre-Preg, Carbon Fibers, Kevlar layup, Fiberglass, and Hand Layup
- Ability to trim excess materials accurately using hand shears or trimming knives
- Experience in checking finished products for adherence to specifications and quality standards
- Knowledge of recording production data and maintaining logs
- Strong commitment to safety practices and adherence to company guidelines
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with 5S methodology for workplace organization
- Previous experience in repairing defective products rejected during inspection
- Understanding of FOD (Foreign Object Debris) and Tool Control practices
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in metal lamination or composite part fabrication
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to participate in internal training programs as needed
- Flexibility to perform re-work tasks and additional duties as assigned
