General Maintenance Operators
$18-$19 an hour
8 hour shifts/ 40 hours a week
6am-2pm or 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm (flexible)
The operators will be responsible for working equipment, following efficient plant processes, and performing routine operations to maintain optimal plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate machinery
* Mix solutions
* Prepare ingredients for mixing
* Light welding may be performed
* measuring/pouring
* Carrying supplies and labeling
* Assist in the startup, shutdown, and cleaning of plant equipment.
* Follow safety, environmental, and operational standards.
* Record and report process data, deviations, and equipment performance.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Follow all company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.
* Foster a Positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment across different cultural backgrounds.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Relevant field experience in plant Maintenance operations
* Proficient in using maintenance tools and equipment (wrenches, welding machines, power tools, etc.).
* Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical maintenance, and troubleshooting.
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork mindset.
* Ability to work in shifts and adapt to changing operational needs.
* Knowledge of safety procedures in an industrial setting.
* Experience/willing to working in a multicultural team, demonstrating adaptability and communication skills.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
* Ability to work in an industrial plant setting with exposure to heat and noise
* Ability to lift 50 Lbs.
* Ability to stand, bend, or kneel if required while working.
