Overview
Malone Workforce Solutions is looking for reliable and experienced Forklift Operators to join our team for a distribution client in Ladson, SC. This position plays a critical role in warehouse and production operations by safely transporting materials and products using forklifts and other lift equipment.
Forklift Operator Highlights:

Location: Ladson, SC

Schedule: 8-hour shifts; workload-based scheduling with occasional overtime
Shift: 8AM-4:30PM -
Pay: $17.50/hour with immediate benefits package!

Work Environment: Fast-paced warehouse and industrial setting
Forklift Operator Duties:
-
Operate gasoline or electric-powered forklifts to load, unload, and move materials
-
Transport inventory between loading docks, processing areas, and storage zones
-
Safely stack materials and secure items for transport

Perform routine maintenance on forklifts (e.g., cleaning, fueling, battery checks)
-
Assist with manual loading/unloading when required
-
Follow safety protocols and report equipment or material issues promptly
Forklift Operator Requirements & Qualifications:
-
Previous forklift operation experience required

Valid forklift certification preferred
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending and standing for long periods

Strong attention to safety and situational awareness

Ability to work independently and within a team

Must be comfortable operating in high-paced, dynamic warehouse environments
