Job Summary
Understands and applies the principals of product and service quality evaluation and control. Assists with the analysis and improvement of quality, and regulatory processes, works with the production floor, purchasing and account management.
Pay: $24 per hour
Quality Associate Job Duties
- Ensures quality standards
- Regularly monitors the production processes and machinery to ensure quality
- Supports asset tracking, calibration, and maintenance
- Assists in inreceiving inspection, final inspection and First Article Inspection
- Creation, implementation and follow-up of corrective actions
- Track and document customer returns
- Assists in QMS training activities
Required Skills for a Quality Associate
- Proficiency in English
- Proficient in IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-600 workmanship standards
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office and manufacturing software
- Expereince with mechanical inspection tools
- Working knowledge of concepts, tools, and processes of Surface Mount and Through-Hole Technology
- 2 years of experience in a similar environment
