Malone Solutions is looking for on On-Site Labor Coordinator for a large manufacturing company located in the Ladson, South Carolina area!

General Purpose of Job

Coordinates human resources activities with operating teams, such as employment on-boarding, communicating with outside labor agencies, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties.
 

  
Job Tasks

  • Coordinates with Management and operating teams to complete daily manpower planning.
  • Advises department managers of Company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits.
  • Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs. Verify all crews have accurate daily signs in sheets of Verify.
  • All workers are properly trained in how to use the face recognition time clock.
  • Monitor daily time clock usage for completeness and accuracy of punches.
  • Create spreadsheets for any type of report needed by Managers and Supervisors, such as, missing punch reports, daily attendance reports.
  • Assist in preparing the weekly payroll reporting. Perform authorized associate file maintenance functions in Genesis time clock program.
  • Call workers as needed to confirm their next shift assignment.
  • Support the safety department and safety training initiatives.
  • Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
  • Plans and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals.
  • Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan for qualified employees, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance for qualified employees.
  • Conducts wage surveys within the labor market to determine competitive wage rates.
  • Prepare reports and recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
  • Ensuring Associates are compliant with the company rules and regulations.
  • Manage payroll functions for associates including timekeeping activities and payroll reports
