About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, local Technical Sales Engineer for our client to support and grow their customer base within the electric vehicle and off-highway equipment sectors. This role combines hands-on technical acumen with strategic relationship-building and business development. You’ll be a critical player in helping OEM clients design and implement advanced electric drive systems–from concept to product release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a defined sales territory; develop new and existing customer relationships
- Provide technical support and solution-based selling of electric drive components and systems
- Lead customer meetings and site visits; provide application support and feedback
- Coordinate internal project teams to align with customer needs and deadlines
- Assist in identifying and resolving field issues related to product integration or performance
- Up to 65% travel
Compensation/Benefits:
- Base salary starts at up to $95k (DOE) + full benefits + profit sharing (available after one year of employment)

Required Experience/Skills/Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar technical field
- Minimum 3 years + of experience in technical sales in power electronics or motive power environments
- Proven success working with OEMs or system integrators in a sales or applications engineering role
- Strong technical background in motor controllers, power conversion, CAN interfaces, and system I/O
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly self-directed with strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities
