Malone Staffing Solutions is seeking a versatile Production Supervisor for a global partner that specializes in automotive interior and exterior injection-molded parts, glass assembly, compression forming, and custom assembly, located in Georgetown, KY.
Production Supervisor Benefits:
* $20.70 – $23.20/hr. pay

Production Supervisor Duties:
* Ensure meeting safety/environmental requirements
* Ensure meeting quality requirements
* Ensure internal defects are tracked. Assist in problem solving for root cause
* Create daily schedule and manage builds to forecasted requirements
* Help ensure machine uptime. Assist in problem solving downtime.
* Manage finished goods inventory (min/max visual control). Report accordingly.
* Manage line side component inventory (min/max visual control). Report accordingly.
* Communicate shift results during handover meetings
* Address team member issues
* Manage employee in attendance system (timeclock punch issues, pto, etc.)
* Communicate need for any disciplinary action
* Ensure departmental communication
* Maintain 5S of area
Production Supervisor Skill & Education Requirements:
* Must be willing to submit and pass a drug screen
* High School Diploma or GED at minimum
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time.
* Should have strong hand-eye coordination.
* Ability to operate various assembly tools.
* Sufficient physical reflexes and personal mobility.
* Must be a team player and communicate effectively with all team members as well as communicate issues to the Supervisor immediately.
* Assist in continuous improvement and be adaptable to change (including new ideas, projects and practices).
* Able to follow verbal and written instructions
* Knowledge of environmental ISO14001 preferred
* Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in the English language
* Must be able to work on their feet for long periods of time and will be required to lift up-to 35lbs, 75% of the time.
